"Being a student of INIFD DECCAN Pune, I feel proud. For me, the best part of my Design Institute would be the interest that is shown by the faculty members in their students’ work and career. All faculty members are friendly and helpful with students and they teach in an interactive way for better understanding. The communication amongst all the students is good. Although there is a lot of pressure of assignments, I know that it was only for preparing us for the tough competition in the industry. "My fashion journey started almost two and a half years back with INIFD Deccan. I had just started to explore this enormous fashion world and suddenly within a few months the pandemic hit us.  While we suffered with the pandemic loneliness, I just thought to utilize my skills which I had learnt in college days and I came up with my professional Instagram profile @sakshi_illustrations. In this world with noise of digital hook, there was a hand with pencil and book! I connect myself and my passion for fashion with illustrating my thoughts on a piece of paper and by sharing my fashionating imagination to the world out there via social media. It is an amazing experience to see this little piece of paper command the process of constructing a graceful garment. Also, I have started working as a freelancer with various clients from India as well as the USA and Canada. While working with different clients I have experienced that fashion designing is not as glamorous as it looks on the ramp, one has to put lots and lots of efforts to display a particular designer’s outfit.
Also, I thank my college- INIFD Deccan for so many opportunities to present my talent to the world during the pandemic period I was doing an online internship program, and currently because of the strong placement cell here I am working with a well-known brand: Jack and Jones."

  • All scholarships are awarded on a first come first serve basis.

        1. A minimum level of the academic score has to be maintained at an 8 CGPA across all semesters
        2. Attendance is to be maintained at a minimum of 80 percent
        3. There should be no disciplinary action against the student.
